- •Oversees the day-to-day activities of the team and plays a key role in organizing and prioritizing support requests
•Be responsible to ensure support coverage is fulfilled per SLA or as agreed with customer on emergency cases
•Works with the manager on training needs, team feedback and SLA tracking
•Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
•Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
•Requires working with technical/development team for complex issue investigation and implement solutions.
•Performs root-cause analysis on support issues and develops preventive plan.
•Prepares to answer technical support queries and implements fixes for application problems, works on cross-functional teams to proactively address support issues.
•Escalates issues appropriately using hierarchical and functional escalation guidelines
•Creates and maintains documentation for supported applications, coordinates with customers to resolve technical support issues.
•Owns the incident and be accountable to ensure issue closure upon user confirmation
•Develops knowledge-based repository for FAQs and resolution documents
•May participate in software development projects as a side role
•A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways - Requirements :
- •Master/ Degree in Information Technology with minimum 6 years working experience in supporting business applications.
•A highly flexible person who can react and make quick decisions, especially on support coverage
•Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Good and positive work attitude, willing to share/learn and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
•Possess strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
•Time management skills, problem solving and analytical skills, and organizational skills are necessary for success in this position.
•Ability to work in a fast paced cross-functional, multi-disciplined team environment.
•ERP knowledge is an added advantage
•Willing to work on shifts as needed - Lowest Qualification :
