Description :: · Understand and clearly define all aspects of supplier quality problems and/or issues and facilitate satisfactory resolutions using data collection, root cause and trend analysis.
· Apply Six Sigma tools for supplier problem solving and continuous improvement.
· Able to interpret technical drawings and feature characteristics including title blocks, dimensioning, and tolerance GD&T symbols.
· Interprets specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics.
· Investigate and audit alternative sources of supply.
· Support the manufacturing process by ensuring supplier’s materials are of acceptable quality.
· Participate in supplier performance reviews with CDM Business Managers.
· Maintain proactive communication with management, cross-functional colleagues, and suppliers.
· Visit suppliers to access their ability to provide high quality, complex parts utilizing Delta Designs Supplier Audit process.
· Apply various techniques including supplier qualification, evaluation and performance improvement.
· Coordinate on going activities for corrective/preventive actions, training, which are required for supplier quality goals.
· Familiar with Quality expectations for Kanban and Pull Flow contracts for supply chain materials management.
Requirements :: · Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience in an Engineering or Quality discipline. ASQ and ISO Lead Auditor certification preferred.
· Experience: 3-5 years related automated test equipment or semi-conductor industry experience. Project Leadership experience in a cross-functional team required. Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.

· Skills/Technical Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings and feature characteristics including dimensioning and tolerance using GD&T symbols.
- Computer literate in MS Office and MRP system. Strong ability to maintain impartial and ethical relationship with suppliers in line with company policy.
- Must be a self-starter and capable of independently driving quality initiatives.
