Description :
- To be responsible for the materials management function relating to the planning, purchasing, sourcing, storage, control, and distribution of materials to meet operations requirements.
- To spear head organization strategic initiative for regional materials management.
- To establish departmental goals and objectives that provides world-class materials performance to the company.
- To track and manage departmental performance through consistent KPIs reviews as well as to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- To establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support material planning, purchasing and inventory control.
- To develop and execute a sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirements.
- To lead and manage a team of planners, purchasers and purchasing assistants to achieve individual KPIs as well as department goals.
- To supervise a team of materials handlers to secure high level of inventory accuracy. 
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in material planning / purchasing in a manufacturing environment which includes 2 years of supervising experience.
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest and thorough.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, communication, and networking skills are required.
- Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all departments of the organization and with external suppliers and customers.
- Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed project expectations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate work to subordinates, and the ability to evaluate and positively influence performance.
- Competent with computer software such as ACCPAC, SAP (or similiar MRP system), Microsoft Office and Crystal Reports.
