Description :: - Responsible for various accounting activities in daily operation, budgeting/forecasting, cash management and support the business operations.
- Responsible to develop and progress within the financial control function and other areas of finance.
- Responsible of preparing standard and ad hoc month-end journals. To post journal entry to accounting system
- Preparation of monthly financial reports. Monthly analysis of profit and loss accounts, including commentary. Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible to monitor accounts receivable (AR) functions and process accounts payable (AP) invoices and recurring payments.
- Recording bank transactions, maintaining cashbooks and performing daily bank and cash audit reconciliations, to assist the client-ledger team
- Responsible to liaise with the Bankers.
- Preparation of subsidiary financial statements.
- Responsible of preparing month end stock evaluation & product costing.
- Responsible to assist in month & year-end stock take process.
- Assisting in the external audit process, liaising with external auditors.
- Responsible to monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Responsible to manage day to day operation and ad-hoc assignments
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Required skills (SAP & MS Excel)
- Good accounting knowledge & hands on experience, Experience of production (management accounting info)..
- Required languages (Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin / Chinese candidate is preferable)
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Willingness to put in extra hours when necessary.
- Must be self motivated, have an eye for detail, able to meet tight deadlines, proactive & able to work independently under minimum supervision.
