Description :: - Preparation, drafting and vetting legal documents (Agreements, etc)
- Review contracts from vendors, customers and other third parties
- To provide legal advise or resolutions with minimum supervision
- To provide legal support to the Company's business units in ensuring the interests of the Company are safeguarded and risks mitigated
- To undertake legal research on areas relevant to the business operations of the Company from time to time
- To update and monitor the department's legal database on current laws and regulations
- To ensure timely maintenance and update of the department's work database and filing system
- To attend to all matters assigned by Head of Department as and when required
- Manage the Company's debt recovery and other litigation matters and recommend approciate legal actions
- Protection of company's rights and interests by management of litigation matters, claim and disputes
- To liaise with external solicitors
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Studies-Managerial on Administration, or in Business Law or equivalent with minimum 2/3 year(s) experience preferably in the hire-purchase industry
I- ndependent, strong leadership, proactive and dynamic individual equipped with effective communication and problem solving skills
- Able to work under tight reporting deadlines and schedule to deliver timely and accurate results
- Strong presentation, negotiation and organization skills with an excellent command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia would be an added advantage
