- - Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for site personnel in safety, health and environmental matters.
- Ensure necessary notifications made to the relevant Statutory Authority under the legislation.
- To implement and enforce all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as required.
- To oversee, monitor, planning, coordinate and conduct safety and health activities, training and guidance as per ISO requirement.
- To ensure site safety compliance and house keeping are being carried out by the respective subcontractors and employees.
- To carry out regular safety, audit and inspection.
- Prepare monthly Safety Audit Report.
- Ensure compliance with all Regulation under the relevant Occupational Safety and Health Acts, as applicable to the site.
Consult with Superior and relevant person in charge where any doubt exists.
- Keep up-to-date recommeded codes of practice and new safety rules.
- Perform any other safety and health duties / tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the superior. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) from DOSH or NIOSH.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in the building construction projects.
- Must be a registered and certified Safety Officer Green Book Holder - Registered with JKKP.
- Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health related legislation, regulations and practices.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in written and spoken.
- Must be willing to work according to site working hours.
- Candidate with ability to communicate in Mandarin will have added advantage.
