Description :: - Responsible for solutions to improve tooling capabilities.
- Deal with customers, manage engineering changes and quality-related issues as well as co-ordinate new product introductions (NPI)
- Lead/Work in team to drive cost, quality, and productivity improvement.
- Deploy best practices in conventional and double shot-injection molding.
- Train and develop team members competencies in molding process.
- Identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities on assigned projects.
- Optimize cycletime and quality through scientific molding approach.
- Maximize productivity of molding machines and efficiency of team member.
- Work with tooling and maintenance team to resolve mold related issue.
- Verify mold are propperly charaacterize (Mould, Machine, material and process) through window studies by using DOE, SPC, control plans, and FMEA. and at the same time able
- Verify that technical issues affecting molding production are addressed in a timely manner to meet delivery / assembly
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical/Plastic or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on working experience in manufacturing ( experience in injection molding with experience in double shot injection molding will be put in added advantage).
- Knowledge of DOE and Scientific molding is advantage.
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
