Description :: - Integrate Cohu vision inspection system on Cohu's Turret machine in the factory and also on-site
- Understand client's vision inspection requirements. Select vision applications and hardware to meet such requirements and implement them on machines
- Perform test and qualification on the applications and modules developed by vision development team
- Perform on-site and in-house service and repair activities on Cohu's vision system on Cohu's Turret machine
- Train and instruct users (internal vision integrator team, field service engineers, customers) about vision system application for existing features, new applications and upgrades
- Participate in quality improvement activities fine-tune, test and qualify such vision applications and hardware
-Perform any jobs that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements :: - Must provide a Bachelors, Diploma/Certificate from a recognized school, university or technical program; related to an applied science, electronics, and mechanical, electro-mechanical engineering or similar related field. Experience with image processing application is an added advantage.
- Must be able to clearly speak and write in English
-This position requires frequent and extended travel. All candidates must be prepared, ready and available to travel up to but not limited to 3 weeks per month. Weekend over-stays may be required when installations exceed 5 business days.
- This position requires extended working hours, frequent weekend support and shift rotation.
- Sharp problem solving skills and self-motivated
- Knowledge of camera, optics and lighting.
- Hardworking and able to handle projects under high pressure.
