Description :: 1. Conduct safety patrol and monitor staffs compliance according to Company safety requirement especially in wearing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
2. Supervising cleaners, conducting audits on cleanliness of the canteen, work station, etc
3. Supervise repair work including issuing work orders to Maintenance, external contractors or any other parties concerned
4. Check all industrial wastes are discharged appropriately to comply with DOE’s or other related authorities’ requirements
5. Comply with all statutory requirements on environmental, health and safety and ensure the relevant approvals are obtained
6. Assist in the review of machinery design, re-layout of work stations, etc to ensure compliance to safety requirements
7. Assist accident investigations; identify causes and hazards and advise / take corrective action to prevent potential accidents
8. Supervise 5S activities to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office and factory.
9. This includes supervising cleaners, conducting audits on cleanliness of the canteen, work stations, etc.
10. Conduct periodic checks and maintenance on equipment such as fire-fighting equipment,building maintenance, toilet systems, water coolers, air-conditions, etc to make sure they are in good working condition
Requirements :: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Engineering (Environmental/ Health/ Safety) or equivalent.
2. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
