Description :: - Operate Surface Grinding or EDM machines to produce mould inserts and other parts to a dimension tolerance of +/¬ 0.005mm (Surface Grinding), or +/¬ 0.01mm (EDM).
-Interpret drawings and decide effective way (setting, use of fixtures, etc.) to make parts Take measurements (using Profile Projector, Toolmaker microscope, Micrometre etc.)
-To ensure work is of good quality
Requirements :: -Minimum 2-3 experience with EDM or Surface grinding producing precision mould inserts and parts of tolerance +/¬ 0.01mm (EDM), or +/¬ 0.005mm (Surface Grinding)
-Experienced in using Optical Dresser (Grinding) to produce parts Experienced in using measurement equipment (Profile Projector, Toolmaker microscope, etc.)
-Added advantage: Programming and CAD/CAM (UG) skills Ability to work independently to produce parts
