Description :: •Effectively apply all accounting procedures and reporting systems and ensure its consistency with the approved framework of policies, objectives and budgets established by top management
•Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly financial statements with detailed analysis for management review
•Closely analyze, review and monitor implementation of annual budgets by ensuring effective budgetary control of actual performance against plan through implementation of periodic investigation and assessment of the financial implications of the variances
•Plan and manage the company’s risk assessment framework to ensure all risks are identified, assessed, and managed/minimized
•Perform due diligence/financial assessment and prepare proposal for venturing into new market and dealing with new clients
•Provide management with necessary reports, statistics, forecast and other required information to facilitate effective management and control of the business in a timely manner
•Co-ordinate treasury activities which include monitoring cash flow position, timely placement of excess funds and overseeing credit facilities movements
•Monitor debtors’ collection and payments to creditors which include analyzing ageing report, enforcing credit control and promoting necessary actions to collect or settle long outstanding dues
•Liaise with auditors, tax agents, authorities and bankers as and when required
•Perform any other ad-hoc tasks or duties as directed by Directors as and when required
Requirements :: •Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Those with professional qualification such as ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/MICPA are strongly encouraged to apply
•At least five (5) years of relevant work experience preferably in the oil and gas industry
•Computer literate with good understanding and command of Microsoft Office and accounting system
•Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential
•Articulate, good business acumen, and excellent analytical and leadership skills
•Experience working in Middle East is an added advantage
