Description :: Solve and close support inquiries escalated
Assist service engineers and ship technician during service and installation
Maintain customer portfolio of communications and IT services onboard vessels remotely
Ensure that all engineering parameters, needs, and client requirement are being fulfilled on a timely basis and accurately
Oversee and coordinate all design related activities defined within the scope of the service
Pre-sales support to customer / sales on the type of service offered
Provide updates on product service and pricing
Take ownership of product and development of service
Be part of a shift work system to provide after office hour support
Improve on customer support process
Impart VSAT knowledge to service engineer
Manage the iDirect service
Requirements :: Degree / Diploma in engineering
Good understanding of computer networking, IT and RF technology
Basic knowledgeable in CISCO switches and routers, configuration and system commands
Excellent phone and writing skills to interact with customer, management, engineering and sales
IP knowledge in Firewall, router and voice setup
Lowest Qualification :: Diploma
