- Set up and maintain company Linux server particular in the service of apache, mysql, samba, nfs, squid, bind9, but not limited to that.
Maintain and administering company LAN/WAN performance, which including setting up, problem tracing, solving and fine tuning.
Setup and administering company total security solution which include firewalling, antivirus, vpn.
Provide Linux training to junior team member to increase team ability to engage to a higher troubleshooting skills.
Troubleshooting Desktop application/network problem while needed.
- Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Required skill(s): GNU/LINUX.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer.
Full-Time positions available.
Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
At least 4 years experience working in a GNU/Linux server environment.
Have been in the role of fully maintaining the following services for at least 3 years: apache, mysql, samba(as file server/PDC), squid, bind9.
Have enthusiast to Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) technology.
A team player who willing to assist other member while available and also able to take up a dedicated role individually.
Have experience in RedHat family of GNU/Linux such as RHEL,Centos,Fedora
Willing to learn and implement new technology to enhance company server/network performance
Responsible and good attitude is the most needed requirement in this role.
