Description :: Responsible for monthend and yearend closing of accounts for management reporting and submission to relevant government
entities;
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, custom, regulatory authorities and other parties to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory
requirement;
Monitoring the accounts receivables and credit control function, working closely with clients and internal departments on credit
collection related matters;
Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department
activities;
Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole;
Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff; and
Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time
Requirements :: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy /related field plus at least three years
of accounting and/or audit experience;
Able to perform accounting functions in accordance with MPERS/ MFRS in Malaysia;
Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with standard accounting software packages;
Strong verbal and written communications skills;
Detail oriented and organized. Strong planning and prioritization abilities; and
Must maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects and be comfortable with flexible working schedule to meet the needs of the
JMB/ MC/ Company.
