Description :: 1. To develop and implement financial management, budget and accounting goals, policies, priorities, and procedures
2. To meet finance & accounting objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
3. To supervise the preparation and review of various financial statements and management reports periodically
4. Administer accounting status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of accounting data; preparing special reports
5. Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures
6. To ensure the effectiveness of the internal controls relating to financial management
7. To liaise with external parties such as external auditors and tax agent compliance to statutory requirements
8. To cooperate with the senior management in completing the Annual Financial Budget
9. Analyse budgeted to actual results for significant variances and report to the senior management
10. Responsible internal audits for associated companies
11. Responsible in the preparation of any special reports as desire by the senior management
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer
Requirements :: 1. Possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Finance / Accountancy Management, ACCA, CIMA.
2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience
3. Experience in Group Financial & Accounting practices.
4. Experience in Accounting SOP implementation.
5. Experience in Company Taxation.
6. High commitment to responsibilities
7. Able to work under pressure.
8. Good communication, report writing and analytical skills.
9. Experience in construction and development field are an added advantage.
