Crystal Safety Glass (M) Sdn Bhd or widely known as CSG, a subsidiary company of Crystal Group, was founded in 1998. It started as a trading company and later on it turned provider of quality architectural glasses and mirrors in the industry. It builds success on a simple philosophy: to understand customers’ needs.

Crystal Group is a leading manufacturing and development group in Malaysia with a remarkable business track-record gained over the years within the glass, aluminium, construction development, and services fields. Its production facilities are located on a site in Telok Gong with a massive used land, as one of the biggest factories in Telok Gong industrial area, which, at more than 500,000 square foot of current production capacity as well as of future development.

CSG decided to complement the core business with a product range of its own. A new production plant was build and it was the first tempering line and mirror production plant that uses high end technology machines to produce top quality goods. The second jumbo tempering plant which complements the ever demanding modern architecture needs, will be adding up some point by the year of 2010. The production plant uses technology that was imported from China to fully enhance and boost production capacity. It proves so successfully that Crystal Safety Glass has gained an increased profit from good management skills that will only bodes well for future development of the company. CSG can produce roughly up to 1300m² of mirror and 350 m² of tempered glass per day.

Later in 2008, Crystal Group strived to be one-stop glass and aluminium company whereby the customers can source the necessary consultation and advice on the best or most suitable quality of glass and aluminium products, fitting systems and installation methods. Thus, Crystal Group Aluminium Extrusion established to make Crystal Group be the only glass and aluminium manufacturing company in Malaysia. Crystal Safety Glass produces a full range of architectural glass products. These include clear float glass, tinted float glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, mirror and sandblasting glass.

As one of the first company to achieve ISO 9001, the principles of CSG will be fulfilling their commitment by covering promise of ‘Customer, Safety and Guaranty’ in every product. By the year 2009, CSG managed to be one of the top 100 outstanding small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Golden Bull Award 2009 that was presented at Genting. Further achievements followed on as Crystal was awarded the Asia Pacific Top Excellence Brand Year 2009/2010 for consistently producing top quality products and Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise Keris Award 2009 for demonstrating honesty and integrity in its business dealings.
