Description :: • To develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents and records of the organization.
• Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare any related reports.
• To develop inventory analysis reports and analyse variances.
• Making cashflow planning and budgets, dealing with the banks on bank facilities, coordination of funds flow and repayment. Having experience in banking facilities is an added advantage;
• Calculate standard rates for labour and overhead, and discussing with Operations on hours usage for efficiency purpose;
• Calculate finished goods and work in progress costing, and analyse variances and margins by product, making strategic suggestions to the management for process improvement;
• Coordinate quarterly stocktakes and resolve variances with Operations, reporting any exceptions to the Management;
• Analyse cost and overheads, give suggestions for cost effectiveness initiatives and drive cost down projects.
• Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly financial reports according to business requirements;
• Be prepared to take on ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements :: • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
• At least 5 year(s) of manufacturing costing background is required for this position.
• Good analytical skill & working attitude, strong communication & organization skill and a team player;
• General knowledge computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Power Point & Word;
• Able to work under tight deadline and multi-tasking;
• Required language(s) : English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia;
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin is preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking supplier.
