Description :: - Conduct research and analysis of legal problems;
- Represent the company in liaising with external solicitors and regulatory bodies for any legal matters
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law; and
- Undertake other assignments as required.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses;
- Examine the legal issues related to business and/or services provided
- Negotiate deals on behalf of the company;
- Provide and guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure the company is in compliance with legal regulations;
- Assist in drafting and/or vetting transactional documents/agreements, eg. NDA, MOU, Fee Proposal,
- Letter of Appointment and consultancy agreements
- Oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters;
- Protect the company against legal risks and violations;
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Professional Certificate in Law or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of post qualification experience
- Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.
- Good written and spoken in Mandarin would be an advantage.
