Passive Fire Protection was founded in 1996 by its Executive Director and group of experts together with retired fire service officer. With the idea of developing a more affordable product that can reduce and possibly eliminate weaknesses of conventional fire systems, WinDuct® was developed.
WinDuct® offers a 2-Hours resistance to fire with the use of locally fabricated Galvanised Iron Ductwork improved with fire prevention coating. Since its introduction in 1996, WinDuct® has been constantly tested and accessed by reputable laboratories around the world including SIRIM Malaysia, CSIRO Australia, BRANZ New Zealand and International Fire Consultants (IFC) Ltd, UK to British Standards BS476 Part 24 and Australian Standard AS1530.4.
