- Responsible to issue Purchase Orders to suppliers and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of goods.
- Responsible for ensuring that products are delivered on time and in a place that is required and the goods purchased from the resources required.
- Responsible for planning, sourcing and developing new potentials suppliers / vendors for economic recovery.
- Responsible for maintaining full records and coordinating with various suppliers and compare the cost of buying demand in the organization
- Delivery cost and report to management.
- Responsible for the procurement of materials and inventory planning, monitoring actual vs budget plan.
- Review and auditing SOP.
- Assist the procurement team in developing a plan to reduce costs and encourage supplier price negotiations - Requirements :
- - Diploma / Advanced Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Materials Planning or equivalent with at least 3 years experience in a manufacturing / pharmaceutical and food / chemical;
- Candidates with strong experience to undertake the formation of contracts, supplier management and risk management;
- Knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) in procurement and logistics functions is highly desirable;
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Proactive, resourceful, innovative and ability to drive for improvement and set procedures;
- Possess effective negotiation, planning and organization skills, effective communicator and interpersonal skills;
- Able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (bonus) language. - Lowest Qualification :
