Description :: -Responsible for procurement activities, production supplies and services essential to the area of responsibility
-Prepare and process local/overseas purchases enquiry and documentation in line with requirements and company policy; ensure the consistency of supply chain and delivery schedules to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries of products/services with zero-downtime
-Review, monitor, prepare and perform - database maintenance, report & record, accuracy of procurement activities, and cost analysis
-To assist in driving improvement to procurement processes & activities. To report and share information on internal control issues and areas for improvement
-Communicate effectively with supplier via phone, fax and email to obtain quotation, improvement or information; and channel update to internal department
-Manage suppliers performance to meet objectives in the area of quality, cost, delivery and inventory control
-Connect and co-ordinate with Finance Department with regards to suppliers invoice and payment issues
-To perform any other duties as directed by the Management
Requirements :: -Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management Logistic/Transportation or equivalent or at least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field
-Fresh graduates/entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
-Proficient in MS Office applications
-Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to converse in another language such as Mandarin is an added advantage
-Knowledge of procurement methods including sourcing, negotiating and etc.
-Possess good communication, interpersonal skills, self-motivated, responsible and committed
-Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
