Description :: 1. Lead and be in-charge of strategic sourcing & procurement of the third party project buyout products and services in various sectors and verticals.
2. To drive functional performance, focus on cost optimization, cost reduction program,maximizing procurement value, containment of pricing, assurance of suppliers sustainability and vendor qualification.
3. Source, engage and secure supplies with producers of alternative fuel, raw materials and recycling of waste material.
4. Manage tender process before contract expires and negotiate prices, prepare tender report/management paper for approval & issue letter of award/contract/agreement as per timeline.
5. Negotiate contract such as consignmnet, VMI / SMI and establish yearly price reduction program.
6. Developing internal value with objective to sustain and retain skilled and knowledgeable staff and successor.
7. Developing possible partnership with 'nich' suppliers in order to retain exclusive products, services and maintenance of inventory at minimum accetable level.
8. Work with all pertinent Government divisions, agencies and departments to facilitate creation and maxmizing value along supply chain process.
9. Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures, material control system and matrics to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Fluent speaking and writing in English & Mandarin
- Required skill(s): Good communication skills, Ms Office
