- Ensure incoming material’s quality:
- Start from order processing, ensuring the correct specification and proper remaining shelf life.
- Liaise with QA and production when deciding on purchasing involving quality and suitability;
- Responsible to initiate emergency procedures & ensure that all recall activities information disseminated to department head (shall be based on customer complaint) or directed by governmental authorities for recall upon identification of any harmful ingredients.
- Analyze the issues pertaining to incoming material quality.
Process improvement:
- Responsible in identifying the opportunities for improvement through data analysis.
- Capable to analyze the data through MS Excel. Statistical knowledge would be an advantage.
- Assist in continuous developing, reviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of the company’s
Policies, Procedures and Control Framework.
- Performing internal audit for the assigned process to ensure the company objectives could be reasonable met.
- Assist in supply planning, shall include following functions but not limit to:
Forecast of the items to be purchased;
- JIT management, including negotiate for storage agreement in vendor site;
- To monitor local service providers’ performance via KPI’s set during contract signing.
Vendor management:
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure organizational requirements and expectation are met.
- Ensure the completeness of vendor information e.g. vendor basic information, vendor analysis and industry analysis. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Positive attitude, self motivated, pleasant personality and able to work in team.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Tengah.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
