- 1. Reporting directly to the Assistant Purchasing Manager.
2. Implementing purchasing and procurement strategy and policies.
3. Follow up on the purchasing process with the supplier for on the time delivery.
4. Work closely with production, warehouse / logistic to ensure timely delivery of materials in order to support production line.
5. Monitor and ensure healthy stock level at all the times.
6. To negotiate and purchase materials that complies with specifications and requirement.
7. Organize and attend information meeting between suppliers and managers with regards to major purchases.
8. Ensure all purchases are streamlined and there is maximum savings where possible without scarifying on quality.
9. Manage and coordinate all procurement activities, including monitoring of supplier delivery performance.
10. Follow up accounts payable issue and receiving discrepancies.
11. Ensure new items are set up properly in the item date base
- Requirements :
- 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
3. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
4. Applicants must be willing to work in Tuanku Jaafar Industry Estate.
5. Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
6. Active and result oriented with a high degree of independence.
7. Good and extensive in product sourcing from local and overseas vendors and good negotiation skill in buying.
8. A good team player, strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proactive working attitude, self-motivated with good time management and able to meet tight deadline.
