Description :: - Overall responsibility for production functions and activities in meeting quality, productivity, yield and cost targets to meet customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for identifying and providing the training needs to production team.
- Work with Planners to ensure the production schedules and work orders are completed on time.
- To ensure production line run according to schedule to customer’s delivery dates.
- Monitoring and updates documents in relation to the monitoring and tracking of stock inventory for work in progress and finished product.
- Maintain proper housekeeping practices in production operations.
- To submit daily production output to Production Head.
- Production team motivation and performance evaluation.
- Ensure company, production and safety rules & regulations are being followed.
- Direct responsible for all personnel under his/her jurisdiction and has the authority to tack with regards to their performance and personnel administration within the limits of company policy.
Requirements :: - Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Technology or Engineering.
- Those with qualifications in other disciplines but with proven relevant experience in food manufacturing will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
- Well-versed in ISO 9001 and HACCP systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and analytical skills.

Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd (GBKL) is a subsidiary of a food listed company, QAF Ltd, who also operates Gardenia Singapore, Gardenia Philippines and will soon be opening Gardenia bakery in Fujian, China.
In 1969, an American named Horatio Sye Slocumm was sent by International Executive Service Corporation (IESC) to East Malaysia to start a bakery. Mr. Slocumm brought with him 35 years of baking experience with one of America's leading chain of bakeries. Gardenia was born.

Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd rolled the first loaf of bread off its line in 1986. Within four short years, it became the bread market leader with an astounding 99 percent brand recall rate and 80 percent top-of-mind recall.
