- -Plans, direct, control, and coordinates the activities of all personnel engaged in preparing baking, cooking, selling, and cleaning and to ensure an efficient and
smooth operation all time.
-Assist the Head Chef in planning desserts menus for functions or any other special order as required.
-Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pie, Danish etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
-Create new and exciting dessert to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
-Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
-Sees to it that all food prepared and served is according to the standard set.
-Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking.
-Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
-Leading, training & motivating staff. Identify staffing needs and help on recruitment.
- Requirements :
- -Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics, Food & Beverage Services
Management or equivalent.
-Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
-At least 4-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Required Skill(s): food development, bakery, patisserie, hot meals
-Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
-Passion for food and intimate knowledge of ingredients and blends
-Ability to innnovate and create in a commercial environment
-Prior experienced in HACCP and food development
-Those with experience in food technology is highly desirable
-Experienced with food ingredients and mass production of food is prefeered
