Description :: -Development and maintenance of Company's Quality Management System and ensure an effective implementation of quality awareness and culture through extensive quality training and programs.
- Ensure quality with other departments and external
(customers and suppliers)
-Control of all internal product specification, raw material specification and inspection test method.
-Establish, review and approve quality control methods and procedure to ensure that product processed adhere to customers qualifications.
-Oversee all quality audits/ re certifications process including vendors' assessment and evaluation are done according to standards and accordance to best practices.
-Oversee company-wide calibration system is adequately maintained. Promote, use of SPC techniques and timely internal/external reports. Generate relevant and effective CARs.
-Report Quality Indicators to the Management
-Establish, implement, direct and coordinate all inspection activities - incoming, in process and outgoing; and testing of the product or its technical process with or without sampling and statistics.
-Establish and implement test design, measurement techniques, sampling and analysis of test results.
-Provide feedback of defects detected product of Management.
To decide the disposition of the rejected incoming raw material, work-in process and finished goods.
-Report on all QC activities customers service information to identify opportunities and problems
-Communicates with Marketing and clients on technical and standards requirements.
-Oversee the customers' complaint process until closure.
-Initiate and drive product and process improvement for continual improvement (process and product re-engineering)
-Establishes and evaluates processes to identify weaknesses and prevention of defects internally and externally
Requirements :: -Bachelor's Degree/Diploma. Preferably with at least 4 year(s) of working experience in the metal industry including experience in Management capacity
-Must be familiar and hands on with ISO9001 standards.
-At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Applicants must be willing to work in PASIR GUDANG.
-Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
