Description :: • Conduct the production routine tests.
• Prepared and setting up the instruments for physical testing.
• Prepared a daily reports.
• Assisted Lab Technician works.
• Dealed with weaving production department through series of production processes.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams develop new, innovative knitted fabric; and improve upon existing fabrics and/or raw material processes for optimal quality, costs, and alignment with customers’ needs and supply chain KPIs.
• Attend textile trade shows to identify seasonal and upcoming fabric trends for further research and development.
• Develop, maintain and update a seasonal fabric library and archive.
Requirements :: • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (in Textiles or equivalent, will be advantageous)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fabric research and development, with strong understanding of yarn, fabric and garment manufacturing, as well as
dyeing and finishing processes for knitted fabrics (eg. polyester, polyester with spandex, polyester-blended fabrics, etc).
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with proven track record of success in driving results through effective management of cross-functional partners and teams, and ability to work well with people at all levels within the organisation.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment.
