Description :: Ensure materials, in particular fabrication parts, are purchased and delivered on time to meet customer demand.
PO issuance for repeat orders of fabrication parts (inclusive of consignment PO & sub contracting)
PO issuance for repeat items under manual PR for miscellaneous items (e.g. Easy CM rework, etc.)
Liaise closely with planners & assembly in order to meet material requirements & to fulfill shipment date.
Generate expediting report & expedite delivery of all PO issued under respective purchaser.
Update order confirmation, review & update PO due date, update overdue PO & remove QA flag.
Generate daily consignment withdrawal report & monthly consignment stock to vendors.
Inform vendors on EasyCM changes & arrange for rework/modification accordingly.
Handling of any quality issues.Liaise on the return & rework of parts.
Attend production meeting to provide material status.
Generate weekly report for loading vs. capacity for fabrication vendors. Order allocation will be based on the report generated.
Requirements :: Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years working experience or Certificate/Diploma with 5
years working experience in fabrication or automation.
Required language: English. Those who are also fluent in Mandarin would have an advantage.
Able to work independently, selfmotivated, and dedicated.
Computer literate with solid working knowledge of MS Excel & other Microsoft tools.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Tactful when interacting with suppliers.
Knowledge of machining processes (especially milling, turning, grinding, surface treatments) would be an advantage.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing would be an advantage
Experience in cost reduction activities is an advantage.
