- 1) Visits operational units based on annual audit plans to perform audit field work including:-
- Evaluating the adequacy of internal financial controls, operational & compliance control in accordance with SGX requirements, Singapore laws and corporate governance best practices, local regulations of subsidiaries/operational units, group policies and procedures;
- Evaluating the efficiencies and effectiveness of the operational processes and recommends improvements where relevant;
- Analyzing operational and financial data, conducts interviews, draft major/critical process charts to ascertain key control areas and risky areas, performs walk through tests, drafts audit findings and recommendations and compiles audit report;
- Presenting audit findings in Audit Exit Meeting to auditees.
2)Involves in assessing the effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management process adopted and practiced by the Group at the operational level as well as Group level on half yearly basis.
3) Conducts ad-hoc investigation audit assignments upon request by top management.
4) Works closely with the Internal Audit Team of Texchem Resources Bhd (the ultimate holding company of TXPHS, which is listed in Malaysia Main Board) to ensure the compliance with Malaysian law and regulations and Texchem Group’s policies.
5) Follow up on the implementation of IA recommendations undertaken by auditees in follow up audit. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree majoring in Accounting or professional qualification of ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in internal audit or external audit.
- As the Internal Audit Department reports administratively to the CEO of TXPHS, and directly to Chairman of the Audit Committee (AC) of TXPHS, of which AC consists mainly of independent non-executive directors engaged from Singapore, Internal audit team members would not only be exposed to the diverse business practices and cultures in various countries, but also gain experiences in fulfilling Singaporean standards in terms of auditing and reporting skills. - Lowest Qualification :
