- • Sourcing, selecting and negotiating with supplier/vendor for best pricing and
maintaining the highest level of quality & service.
• Source and propose suitable / new suppliers to complement existing list of suppliers
• Placement of purchase orders in accordance with business requirements.
• Coordinate with inter department and supplier to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work closely with supplier/vendor on long term cost reduction programs, pricing and payment terms.
• Regular review of suppliers performance to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery and services.
• Address & resolve situation such as shortage allocation, discrepant material and alternate source of supply.
• Ensure all procurement activities are carried out according to the company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with freight forwarders regarding shipment arrivals. - Requirements :
- • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Purchasing and Materials Management / Business Studies / Administration/Management or
equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in purchasing in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge and experience in ISO Quality Management.
• Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage.
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS excel and word.
• Result oriented, excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in English , Mandarin and Malay (Verbal and Written). - Lowest Qualification :
