Description :: Job Responsibilities:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC)
machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Duties:
• Grind external or internal cylindrical surfaces.
• Read and understand, engineering drawings.
• Determine product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be
ground.
• Determine grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used.
• Mount grinding wheel.
• Dress wheel according to specifications.
• Position work rest to specified height.
• Lift or hoist workpieces.
• Change grinding wheels.
• Able to use QA instrument eg: micrometers, etc
• Check grinding wheels
• Observe machine during operation.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions,
irregularities, and continuing needs.
Requirements :: -High school graduate or equivalent.
-Minimum of three (1) years related experience
Lowest Qualification :: SPM / O Level
