Description :: • Responsible for performing and interpreting non-destructive test (FPI) on aircraft engine components to determine material flaws and discontinuities.
• Review test orders to determine type of test required, test procedures, and part acceptability criteria.
• Prepare parts for testing by applying proper agents such as cleaners, swab etch, penetrants and developers.
• Perform daily checks on test equipment calibration.
• Interpret results of various tests performed against the acceptance criteria specified in operations manual or other approved data.
• Participate in team audits and process reports for corrective actions.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
Requirements :: • 3 - 7 years of experience in Aerospace industry
• Possess NAS 410/ EN 4179 Level 2 certification on FPI
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to multitask
• Good communications skills
• Multi-skilled candidates will have an added advantage
• Technical Certificate/ Diploma in related disciplines
