Description :: • Perform supplier qualification, sourcing, bid and negotiating for best price, best delivery, best quality in accordance to the Project requirement.
• Conduct effective negotiation with vendors to improve pricing and commercial term during project start up
• Analyse material cost breakdown and assess their competitiveness with Strategic Sourcing experience.
• Effectively negotiate commercial terms and conditions with internal and external suppliers and execute contract writing
• Perform commercial negotiation on pricing, payment terms, warranty period etc and delivery Lead-times to meet project time-line
• Manage suppliers, negotiate for optimal cost and consolidate suppliers base in accordance with the company requirements
• Perform supplier management and qualification, evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors globally on their regular performance review
• Compare, evaluate and negotiate product pricing with the various suppliers
• Implement sourcing strategies to provide competitive advantage in materials
• Work closely with internal customers to achieve optimum procurement condition and results
• Maintain and update vendor database system with market information including past experiences of the company using that supplier, pricing, quality and reliability
Requirements :: • Diploma in Electronics / Material Management
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in dynamic manufacturing environment
• Experience in Mechanical and PCBA Box Build Assembly will have an added advantage
• Experience in Oracle , will be added advantage.
