- JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with supplier to ensure their process capability is established, agreed and monitored.
Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify area of improvement.
Evaluate and drive supplier launch readiness for new product introduction.
Communicate and coordinate internally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Program team to ensure suppliers capabilities are understood
and any gaps in requirements are planned for closure.
Seek out alignment and agreement between supplier and engineering on technical drawing sign offs, taking into account the suppliers capabilities in
meeting TRW requirements.
Drive and coordinate with supplier to establish rootcause and corrective action to improve quality performance by using systematic approaches.
Review supplier manufacturing process and yield and collaborate with suppliers on process improvement.
Conduct supplier audits, review assessments of new and existing suppliers.
Implement Lessons Learned bookshelf.
Maintain supplier quality scorecard.
Recommend suppliers for qualification or disqualification based on quality performance.
