Description :: Serve as part of a highlyskilled team, providing operational support duties needed for both production and test/development Oracle
environments for our corporate business applications
Supported applications will include Oracle EBusiness Suite, Data Warehouse and Web facing databases.
Current versions of Oracle are RDBMS and Oracle EBusiness Suite R12, running on Solaris and Linux environments.
Work collaboratively with global DBAs and application development teams located in Penang, the US and Europe
Technical mentorship and leadership for team of DBAs in Penang
Candidate will gain valuable skills in:
Disaster Recovery and HighAvailability ( RAC, RMAN)
PL/SQL programming and exposure to Oracle Applications Development support
Knowledge of connection pooling, JDBC, database persistence layers, Oracle Networking
Oracle Enterprise Manager, customscripting, Toad, etc
Knowledge of Oracle Replication, Snapshot technologies
Oracle Exadata
Oracle EBusiness Suite 12.2 administration and maintenance
Requirements :: Bachelor’s degree (CS, MIS, or Engineering)
Strong technical background
English Language Competency and effective communication skills
Exemplary troubleshooting skills
Ability to execute under tight deadlines.
Strong process mindset and ability to automate manual processes
Previous knowledge of Oracle EBusiness Suite preferred
Previous experience with Unix/Solaris
Leadership aptitude and Team Lead experience would be considered very valuable
Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of experience in the following
Oracle RDBMS 9.x – 12.x
Unix/Linux commands
Oracle EBusiness Suite (11i, R12)
