Description :: - BE A NATURAL at providing new concepts that create new opportunities for the company; expect to
utilize your imagination and creativity.
- HAVE A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF DESIGN: to assist in sourcing and/or creating new
components for New Products Development.
- BE DETAILED FOCUSED: Create and analyze specifications for product costing that meet the
company’s margin requirements. Understand and track project budgets to ensure project is within the
company’s margin requirements and budget. You will prepare weekly update report of all inprocess
projects within area of responsibility. Administer product development process from concept through
project completion. Detailed followup, organizational skills, and project management experience is a
must. Understanding of production development process, procedures and current market trends is
key.
- BE ABLE TO WORK SEAMLESSLY BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS: to interface with sourcing, sales,
marketing, operations, quality control / quality assurance and - R&D as well as other departments as
required to support and accelerate project timetables.
- BE A COMMUNICATION GURU: to administer and respond to all outside requests for projects,
products, and customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- BE CREATIVE: understand and create product buy plans for branded product. Understand and create
cost effective solutions for all customers that meet the company’s margin requirements.
- BE FLEXIBLE AND QUICK: Will need to administer multiple projects on concurrent bases
Requirements :: - 3 5 years of product development experience in a fast paced idea driven environment particularly
cleaning detergents, hygiene products and etc. for the FMCG and B2B industry.
- Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Access Database are required.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation extensively.
