Description :: 1. To assist the Sales Manager to develop the company retail business and identify
suitable products from the Fosroc Malaysia range which are likely to be “retail
winners”.
2. The jobholder also is responsible for the day to day management of the retail
business in accordance with overall company policy.
3. To improve the commercial performance of the company by increasing the turnover
and maximising profitability in retail business.
4. To assist immediate superior in managing stock levels and making decisions about
stock control.
5. Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits.
6. Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
7. Use information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward
planning.
8. Respond to customer complaints and comments.
9. To maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
10. To initiate new product development to improve the business.
11. Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying
or resolving urgent issues.
Requirements :: 1. Candidates should preferably possess at least a Bachelor Degree in civil engineering
or building or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years sales experience in chemical environment selling high specification industrial products
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate in both
written and spoken English.
4. Able to work under pressure and promote good teamwork with other colleague &
division member
5. Proactive, flexible attitude with an ability to work within a high skill, team based
environment.
6. Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
