- Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and security architecture design, implementation, and support of B2B, e-Commerce and
• Web-based applications. Provide technical security support to the applications developers in designing and implementing security mechanisms in software applications and database structures.
• Prepare the security analysis and implementation of database designs, and assist in the performance monitoring,
• testing, and auditing of each database.
• Participate in the education of the staff on software security architecture through application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards. Provide security reviews on applications and databases that are B2B or B2C strategic initiatives.
• Conduct security assessments on production and pilot-staged databases, giving security recommendations when required.
• Research and development in all aspects of information security application engineering with responsibility to assess
• and mitigate system security threat/risk throughout the program life cycle; define and validate application security
• requirements definition and analysis; implement secure systems and processes using COBIT, ISO-17799, ISO-27001,
• and ITIL standards.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting risk analysis, security policy and procedure development and information
• assurance documentation management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide leadership and security subject matter expertise in support of all business applications, databases and webbased software including custom application and third party vendor software databases.
• Current application environment including Oracle Financials, custom billing systems and multiple e-commerce applications.
• Position responsibilities include consulting development teams on security management, performance and availability of applications in a multi-version environment.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills; capable of writing proposals or papers to be published. Solid
• understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts, principles and routing and their relationship to application assurance.
• Ability to teach and understand application vulnerability and mitigation of risk.
• Ability to write security advisories and/or make recommendations to customers on application security issues.
- Requirements :
- • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. Certification: Industry standard Info Sec certs such as
• CISSP, GREM, CCSP, GCIH and CISM are desirable.
• At least 2 years experience in Computer Security performing security application testing, architecture design, or
• implementation.
• Proven experience in Information Security application assurance, engineering or analyst having performed system and software requirements analysis, specification, security architecture design, implementation, testing, integration, and accreditation of trusted applications and systems. Requires demonstrated ability to evaluate the technical security vulnerabilities and control measures for various Web-based applications and operating systems
• to include Solaris, Linux, and Windows 2000/XP.
• Must have familiarity with TCP/IP networking and experience in software development using one of the following programming languages:
• Java, C++, Perl, or .NET Framework. Certified
• Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) a plus.
