Description :: - Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively
- Responsible to maintain banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for business units
- Preparing and presenting financial reports for meetings
- Working with executives and business heads to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit and on consolidated basis
- Responsible for providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole.
- Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities
- Arranging financial audits and reviews as required.
- Responsible to manage payroll related matters for Company, business units and subsidiaries
- Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities
Requirements :: - BA / BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, ACCA level 2, diploma in accounting
- 5-7 years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting / general ledger area and internal controls
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting.
- Experience with Quickbooks accounting software will be advantage. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working experience in construction industry will be desirable
