Description :: In your role as an Assistant Visual Merchandiser-cum-Interior Designer, you play a vital role in delivering a wow-factor via interior design and visual displays at Feruni Retail Stores. With your keen eye for design, you transform each space by showcasing Feruni's products and solutions to their best potential. Through your creative and eye-catching set-ups, you inspire visitors while projecting a compelling presentation of tiles in line with the company's image and direction. Your day-to-day responsibility involves working closely with various teams to conceptualise design themes and ensure that each space reflects current and future design and lifestyle trends. As an organised and resourceful person, you are able to identify and work with the relevant departments to effectively get a job done. Your highly observant nature enables you to pay close attention to details in your surrounding environment and make improvements where necessary. In addition to sourcing for materials such a furniture, lighting and props to complement Feruni tiles, you also manage costing and budget while overseeing the production schedule of each design project.
Requirements :: •You are at least a Diploma or Degree holder in Architecture, Interior Design or Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
•You are competent in computer-aided design (CAD) packages, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create visuals and plans. You also have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•You understand and can interpret as-built drawings with ease.
•You have a keen design sense and you possess a strong creative and artistic flair.
•You keep yourself constantly up-to-date with the latest global designs trends.
•You are resourceful in acquiring the necessary tools to complete a design project.
•You are a multitasker who is self-motivated and have an ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines without supervision.
• You have the ability to follow both written and verbal instruction with great attention to detail.
•You are willing to travel when required
