- • Software Development & Maintenance: Maintenance of the company’s software applications, including supervision of the use of legal and approved software only. Actively working on developing the full potential of existing systems, thereby improving the company’s total Management Information System.
• System Support: Supervision of software application support services provided to all internal system users distributed at head office and at other states and as well as selected customers. These services include setting up of new hardware and software application, server administration and support.
• I.T. Security: Maintain and supervise the access control into the company’s information system pertaining to information processed and generated from the company’s software application system. To Actively make sure the company IT security is maintained and supervised at the most efficient and high level, adhere to the company policy.
• Database Administration and Management: Supervision of the handling of data and information processed and generated by the company’s software application system; from its current processing period, period end closing, archived and retrieval for reference. That includes daily and periodical data backup, data archiving and data housekeeping.
• Management Reporting: Keep the management informed about key issues as well as other important activities and problems, for the purpose of management decisions on an as-need-be basis.
• Staff Management: Ensure that all staff, for whom this position is directly responsible, have a fully completed SOROS and that this is used as a basis for conducting twice yearly performance appraisals. Manage the staff for which this position is directly responsible, in a manner consistent with the corporate Human Relations Policy.
• ERP Administration and Management: Understanding user requirements and design a comprehensive strategy for achieving successful outcome of the ERP project. Responsible for developing a good relationship with the respective users, get inputs from the user and communicate to the team members of the ERP project. Ability to solve complex problems which arise in the ERP project and responsible for the outcome and finish the ERP project with great quality and on time. Responsibility to complete the project within the stipulated budget. Predict risk factors and eliminate it for the successful completion of the project.
- Requirements :
- • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 -6 year(s) of working experiences with minimum 2 year(s) of managerial post.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Malay.
• Able to use one or more of the following software to develop application (VD or VB.Net, HTML, ASP or ASP.Net, IBM Unibasic).
• Good working knowledge in MS Access and Excel Macro will be an added advantage.
• Proficient with MS SQL Server 2000, MS-Access, IBM Unidata integration & management.
• Good understanding of SDLC process, Data Warehouse and BI Tools.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and Oracle will be added advantage.
