The role of Support Analyst is to provide 2nd level support for the Blueprint and legacy applications.

Dedication to meet the Business' requirements and expectations i.e. taking ownership of problems and responding to all issues and requests in a proactive manner where appropriate and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Perform technical support tasks including interaction handling, problem identification, incident logging and tracking, resolution, and escalation as appropriate.
Demonstrate commitment and urgency to assisting the users.
Follow processes and procedures as outlined.
Document problems and solutions, and recording all activities and communications.
Accountable for goals and standards to achieve our Service Level Agreements as defined at both team and individual level.
Maintain cultural awareness in communicating with global customers and peers.
Maintain high level of security and confidentiality as outlined by .
Takes responsibility for the acceptance of new releases of application upgrades and patches from infrastructure teams or the 3rd party vendor.
Gain understanding of customer segments businesses.
Foster a knowledge sharing and learning culture within the team.
Ensure documentation/ workbooks/ manuals are produced and consistently maintained.
Responsible for coordinating acceptance and testing of new versions and new releases of applications from project team or software vendors, before rolling out to production environments.
Self-manage schedules of applications support taking into account the business needs and scope of the work. Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required SITI standards, and that any applicable change management procedures are adhered to.
To proactively monitor systems health status and take necessary actions ensure constant application availability to the business.
To use technical expertise to thoroughly investigate issues to identify underlying root causes, perform server administration activities ensuring issues are resolved in a timely fashion within agreed SLA.
To manage issues between vendor and banks in a professional manner that enables timely resolution of issues while building on the relationships between third parties.

 
Requirements :
Tertiary qualification, or higher
Minimum 4-5 years experience in IT application development or support.
Strong background in MS SQL Server and Stored Procedures.
Knowledge and experience in SQL is required.
Knowledge and experience in ASP and HTML is required
Knowledge and experience in VB script is required
Knowledge and experience in Windows environment is required
Have a general appreciation of business processes and ERP systems will be an advantage.
Knowledge in the ITIL Processes, SOX and ISIP would be an added advantage.
