Description :: Responsible for setting up, deploying and maintaining new and existing servers.
Periodical evaluation and recommendation for hardware/software/systems upgrade.
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all server system including server, operating
systems, hardware, software, and network equipment.
Support user on hardware/software/systems as and when required.
Manage and audit system security policies and software licensing.
Answer customer calls, log calls and create corresponding trouble tickets in help desk system
Apply applicable solutions to submitted inquiries/problems using phone/email support.
Remotely troubleshoot customers' problems/issues and document fixes.
Visit Data Center to troubleshoot hardware failure and replace hardware if necessary.
Recognize and take appropriate action when escalation and deescalation is required for critical and urgent cases
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and designated customer procedures to solve customers' issues.
Requirements :: Knowledge of Linux or Windows operating system, networking environment, and Webbased applications.
Knowledge on Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP configuration) or Windows Server (IIS, MSSQL) web configuration.
Good grasp of remote troubleshooting skill.
Knowledge on setting up Linux, Windows server, and remote troubleshooting skills.
Lowest Qualification :: SPM / O Level
