Description :: 1. Maintain documentation for existing IT system operation procedures and asset. Liaison with audit team JSOX form Japan HQ
2. Prepare budget for purchase and upgrade IT infrastructure. Liaison with external vendors/consultants on IT-related purchase.
3. Support of existing ERP systems, database warehouse, business intelligence applications, business processes and all other IT applications as assigned.
4. As a role to manage the operation of the IT department so that they function reliably, meet the organization’s business needs, and use the organization’s IT resources effectively.
5. Maintain and create SQL table, view, store procedure, SSIS by using BIDS and SSMS for analysis report on difference department requirement by using MS Excel Pivot Table and Crystal Report.
6. Maintain and create SQL Job Scheduling, shrink databases size, perform schedule maintenance on SQL.
7. Support, plan and implement overall branches IT facilities in the Malaysia.
8. To assist in the daily support of operational activities and troubleshooting such as hardware faults, printing and software incompatibilities.
9. Liaise with vendor for services support
10. Ensuring that the IT environment is stable and fit for purpose,
11. To support existing IT infrastructure including server administration, network operations and configuration, back up/recovery, system access security and database administration.
12. Ensure the security and availability of server with minimum downtime
13. To manage the purchase of IT hardware and software & ensure effective implementation
14. Create new user account setup for computer and server access
15. Suggest and recommend initiatives for enhancing company IT & business growth.
16. To make recommendations to the Management in improving and upgrading the Company’s IT facilities.
17. Other ad-hoc project as and when assigned.
Requirements :: 1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology /Business Information System or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of basic Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008
3. Proficiency in Servers Administration-- (SQL server, Email server, Windows server 2003(AD), A/S 400 Server, IBM e-Series & x3650 M3 Server.)
4. Able to Administer Network Administration-- (Setup, maintain and support on NAT, TCP/IP, DHCP, Firewall Fortigate-80C, Firewall Fortigate-50B,WLAN, Fiber Optic, switches, SSL-VPN, Router.)
5. Good knowledge on MRP/ ERP software, hardware & networking.
6. Good coordination, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
7. Analytical and independent worker
8. Able to solve problems promptly
9. Willingness to learn
10. Applicants must be willing to work at Pasir Gudang, Johor.
11. Personal computer literate
