- 1. The role of a Java Developer is to be involved in a team to create robust production applications and develop prototypes quickly.
2. He/She should have a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, Java web application development.
3. Whilst the role is primarily focused on creating server side code, an appreciation of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, JQuery would be very beneficial.
4. Ensure program modifications and development meets user defined requirement and program specifications
5. Developing and/or enhancing existing software product/project;
6. Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to the system
- Requirements :
- 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any relevant field
2. At least 3-4 years in JAVA/J2EE programming
3. Hands-on experience in web application frameworks, such as Spring and Struts
4. Knowledge in Tomcat, WebLogic, Oracle and DB2
5. Candidate should be well versed in the following (or similar): Java/JEE, JSP/JSTL/JUEL/Servlets/JSF etc., SQL/Hibernate, MVC and design patterns in general, Spring/Struts/etc., Automated testing, and version control tools (e.g. Subversion/GIT), ANT, MAVEN etc.
6. Good foundation and/or understanding of software engineering, programming concepts and principles
