Description :: 1. Perform various types of testing including:
a. White Box testing
b. Black Box testing
c. Integration testing
d. Performance testing
e. UI testing
f. Unit testing
g. Security testing
2. Test planning, design, implementation, execution and evaluation.
3. User documentation testing.
4. Prepare and execute manual and automation scripts.
5. Proactively identify test issues and potential process improvement areas, suggest options and recommend approaches.
6. Take part in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.
7. Track and manage defects to resolution.
8. Generate status reports and update project plans.
9. Support management on special projects and proposals
Requirements :: 1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent standard in Computer Science.
2. 1 to 2 years experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
3. Experience in creation of Test Cases and Test Plans.
4. Knowledge in at least one of the following scripting languages: Selenium, C#, Java.
5. Experience with automation frameworks.
6. Experience with performance testing tools jMeter and/or Visual Studio Enterprise.
7. Excellent knowledge of Windows, UNIX and LINUX platforms.
8. Excellent experience working with relational databases.
9. Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
10. Experience (or strong interest in working) with large and disparate data set.
11. Experience working with multi-tier applications.
12. Strong understanding of software architecture.
13. Ability to interact with development team to identify and resolve bugs.
14. Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
15. Ability to review project technical documents and provide input as required.
16. Ability to be flexible in project work and multi-task responsibilities.
17. Ability to work in a close-knit team.
18. Ability to relate to staff at all levels.
19. Good written and verbal communication skills.
20. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
21. Autonomous and attentive to detail.
22. Experience in an international environment.
