ASIAN GEOS entered the Oil and Gas market in 2003 with the establishment of a Malaysian company called Asian Geos Sdn Bhd. Started as a service provider of geotechnical investigation services, Asian Geos has expanded rapidly with projects not only in Malaysia but also internationally. A Singapore outfit called Asian Geos (S) Pte Ltd (AG Singapore) was then set up in 2004 primarily to compliment the project operations and international bidding. Within 6 years into business operations, the AG Group had invested on its own new vessel and a number of geotechnical drilling rigs.

With the growing number of assets and competent geotechnical drilling and engineering expertise, the AG Group had ventured into projects not only throughout Southeast Asia but also in places including offshore China, India, the Middle-east, the Caspian Sea and Europe.

To compete on a global basis and provide an increased level of service depth within the local and regional markets particularly in deepwater, Asian Geos has in 2011 teamed up with Gardline Geosciences Limited, United Kingdom. This has led to the formation of the new AG Group of companies.

A complementary geophysical survey services was then introduced to take advantage of the immediate supports it receives being a global partner of the GARDLINE Group.

Asian Geos Sdn Bhd remains as a Malaysian-controlled company to serve the domestic Oil and Gas clients whilst trading for the international ventures will continue to be via AG Singapore. Kuala Lumpur is the headquarters for the AG Group from which all projects will be managed and where the lab testing, geotechnical and survey data processing and reporting centre are conveniently located.
