- Review designs of structure section team members so as to ensure the design team delivers on all design assignments within stipulated plans and meets customer requirements.
- Plan, manage and control the resources of structure design section to ensure optimization of resource allocation.
- Plan and manage design standardization for structure section to ensure that all structure designs are streamlined to consistent quality and benchmarked to current industry standards in compliance to statutory requirements.
- Establish and maintain close working rapport with all parties such as local authorities, internal and external stakeholders so as to ensure approval is easily obtained, and issues are quickly resolved.
- Build and enhance relationships with clients through timely engagement so as to ensure mutual expectations are met, issues are amicably resolved and thus, leading to effective execution of design assignments (structure section).
- Manage and promote a motivating structure design team environment by providing coaching and training to team members so as to develop and enhance structure design team competency."
Requirements :: - Degree in Civil Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience
- Deliver results within a given framework
- Strong leadership and decision-maker, problem solving, analytical skill, proactive, able to work under pressure and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in design related technical code and standards and design software
