Description :: Responsibilities:

•Reporting to the Executive Director or any other authorized personnel, the Design Engineer is responsible to lead a group of Assistant Engineers, Technical Assistants, and Drafters to complete the Design, cost estimations, tender submissions and proposal for all enquiries.

•The successful candidate will be required to communicate and liaise closely with owner, consultants, and main contractor’s site representative in English fluently.

•Request and evaluate sub-contractors and suppliers quotations and technical proposals.

•Prepare and present design proposal with software such as power point etc.

•Responsible for ensuring proper documentation of all correspondences, emails, design data, and criteria, preliminary schedules, producing design drawings, developing design intents, specifications etc with regards to all enquiries.

•Assist in solving and troubleshooting technical related problems.

Requirements:

•Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of proven track record as a Design and Estimator in the following Building Services Engineering:-

(1) Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation System and or;
(2) High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical Distribution System.

•In addition, candidates with proven experience and knowledge in the following services will be considered in the Senior level:-
(1) Clean Room Air Filtration Technologies.
(2) Fire Protection System.
(3) Centralized Liquid Petroleum Gas Distribution System.
(4) Sanitary, Plumbing and Sewerage System.
(5) Lift and Vertical Transportation System.
(6) Engineered Smoke Ventilation System.
(7) Building Automation / Management System.
(8) Extra Low Voltage System such as CCTV, MATV, Burglar Alarm and Security System, Public Address System, Telephone System.
